When I was very young, I used to earth Star Trek with my father. I loved the idea of space exploration, new worlds and technology. I have since always looked to invent new products and innovate where possible. At 11 years of age, I found myself in front of an Apple Mac computer one day thinking about Star Trek and one of the scenes that I saw in there with a tablet. I said my self "this Apple Mac that it sitting in front of me, can be a phone." That fateful day a lightbulb went off in my head.
I grabbed some colourful pens, a piece of paper and asked myself what do we need on a portable phone that is like a computer. So I drew it and put down icons of a calculator, a compass, a notes page, etc. I even asked my classmates what else we needed. After the design was done, I send it off to Steve Jobs and Apple in California. I wanted Apple to succeed and I wanted this product to exist. It took them 10-15 years of proper design and testing but it was finally done! My teacher told me that Apple was only doing computers but I wanted them to do phones as well! So, it is done now and as we go on, I only hope to get more ideas and convince even more talented people to work with me.
It it to recognise where your strengths lie and utilise those strengths to make a great contribution to this world, your life and the life of others AND most of all life's purpose is to be, for your life force to help you and for you to realise that the meaning of life is for it to be alive. It's that TRULY simple. Complications only arise when you doubt. Trust in the universe, trust in your self and trust what this process is. Let go. You will not fall apart like a burnt twig or an egg falling out of the sky. You are neither of those. You have a special set of skills and gifts. Use them in the best way possible for your lifetime. Hopefully more lives after this one as well.
What do you enjoy? What do you truly, truly LOVE doing? What brings your step a pep and plasters a huge smile on your face?! Are you doing that now? Well, why not?
If you cannot do what you love doing and make enough money doing it, then master what you are already doing. Be the best at it. If you can change your profession in life, GO FOR IT. I encourage you to do it. It is uncertain if we have one or more lives, however according to some physicists, it is not entirety impossible for other worlds to exist right now, simultaneously with our own world. So, if you're not doing what you love, it is possible that you are doing it elsewhere, in another realm. In any case, you can change this reality for your self as well. I did and so can you. Do not place limitations on your power or ability. After all, a person with dreams is a person that is more powerful than a person with just facts.
As I work on my latest product, I am sitting here and smiling, since I am blessed to be able to think about new possibilities and make them into a reality for us all here. I love being able to do what I do and convince other people, very talented people, to do my projects, with me. They are from all over the world and some come to me once, and some come back again and again.
An idea is great, however talent and help is always crucial.
Thus, (I always feel fancy saying thus), your idea and your passion and your desires matter. Make them a reality and get rid of any doubts that were planted in your head, a long time ago. Go on.
The choice is yours, however I do think that you would be much better off filling your time with activities that will bring about an easier, more fulfilled life and mind. You will have something substantial to fall back on rather than to cause unnecessary, pointless and unintelligent energy expansion or to even do harm or yourself; maybe even others. If you wan to know the meaning of life, then you can look at it this way. You cannot ask what it is, because if you are the sort of person that believes in a hight power that created this, would be like the higher power asking itself "How did I come about?" and "What is purpose of the universe?" - it is simply an infinite loop of madness that there is no point in entering.
On the other hand, should you believe that there is not higher power that gave all this, then you can choose to be practical about it all and just live. For life, it self, a part of, is just about existing. If you are another type of human that sits on the fence about it all, don't worry. You can just exist and do whatever makes you happy. After all, you will never truly know. So, it doesn't really matter now, does it?
If however you are the sort of person that says "anything is possible" than you need to get on with it and do something of value because in this this you will find meaning and transcends through whatever it is. Time travel through your life by being in the flow, of no-time-awarness. None the less, no matter what your stance is in life, just do something or you may end of lying on the floor of a forest one day asking yourself if you are simply some sort of energy that is living in a body of flesh and how can flesh exist in a universe of rocks, stars, meteorites, clouds, etc.
If there is one thing I would advise you to do is to read, research and come up with ways to making this world a better place. Now, you may not influence a million or a billion people but if you do change the lives to say 100 or 1,000 people then you are doing amazingly well! However, you cannot do any of this unless you work on yourself first. It is super important that you recharge all your batteries before setting out in the world. One of my favourite book is the The Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss. It's a good starting point to free your self from unnecessary time wastage and become more productive, instead of just being busy.
The other books I recommend are below. When I was at university, I listened to 'How to win friends and influence people.' From that moment on, I know that I would not finish my degree. I had a few subjects to go, however it was not my calling to finish that degree off. I didn't see myself communing to work, struggling in life and being unhappy. Just like I had invited Facebook to connect everyone in the world, I knew that I had to let out all my other inventions and business ideas out into the world. I enjoy helping people and making he world into a better place. I am a creative person and I am always looking for ways to improve the world, make a difference, prevent problem, solve problems and improve what already exist.
If you need any more inspiration and help, you can always reach out to an awesome mentor, marketer and all round cool guy Tai Lopez. Your purpose in life is calling you. Answer that call and go with it. Everything else will fall into place.
I am not emotional or logical. I am a little of both, however, I am innovative, entrepreneurial, forward thinking, helpful, inventive, oriented, co-operative and a leader. I am also curious and analytical. Those who have listened to me, have done well for themselves. When I got into this kind of life, I had two goals. Freedom and making a difference in the world. My father, told me about the internet when I was very little; I have been using computers for a long time and Apple since I was eleven years old. I love technology and I am a digital age kid!
My first invention, Facebook, came about while I was in high school. In 2002, on my DELL laptop and my dial up connection, I emailed YALE, NYU and HARVARD, with the Facebook idea. Harvard business school took my idea. I am glad that is happened. I wanted to connect everyone in the world! I love people and communication. I am the INVENTOR and Mark Zuckerberg is the founder and programmer. I cannot code. This is why I reached out to Harvard. As you can see in the Facebook movie, one of the first countries that Facebook was in, is Bosnia. My background is Bosnian Slovenian.
While I was living in Germany I met Mark Zuckerberg's family.
So, how did I come up with the idea of Facebook? Or Uber or GoGet or Whisper? Well, I wanted something to exist that would be of value and have a good purpose. Facebook, I invented because I didn't want to go to my high school formal in my final year, without knowing who was who there. I wanted to know people before I arrived. I never went to the formal, and Facebook didn't exist until later. However, I got busy! Busy being productive and inventing. I stayed at home and started writing down ideas and business plans of what I wanted to exist in the world. For me, it was simple. Make a difference, communicate with like minded people and make is all happen!
As for my friends that went to the high school formal? They spent money on fancy clothes, fancy food and some drank a lot! I got to live the life I wanted. I got the value in life that I wanted. I am happy.
A big thank you to Mark and Harvard Business School for taking on my idea!
Every day, I think of a new way of improving the world and making a difference. This is the life that I am happy to live.
We all have to start somewhere. How do I come up with an idea? How do I find others like me? How do I convince others to make my idea a reality? And most of all, how do I get others to believe in my ideas?
Simple, really. I believe in what I do. I find what is missing from the market place, what is can be useful to most people and what is easy to create. I speak with those willing to listen and I help them to see the bigger picture. I have other's best interest at heart and I take an interest in them, as well my environment. You have to start somewhere and you all know, that a journey of a thousand miles, start with the first step. Believe, create, do. So, ask yourself what do you want to do? Who do you want to be? What do you want to create? What do you want to achieve? What will you do for this world?
